White Fishnets and a Cowgirl Hat: Jacqueline’s Boudoir Session

Jacque decided she wanted to do an outdoor boudoir maternity session on film. The results speak for themselves
Jacqueline was a second-time mama, and second pregnancies come with a certain clarity. She knew exactly what she wanted this round: sexy, her word, and she meant it. So we built the look around it. White fishnets worn up over the belly, cowgirl boots, a cowgirl hat, and nothing that apologized for anything. We shot in early, early spring, when the grass was still brown and the whole landscape ran tan on tan. Her long black curls did the rest; the wind kept them moving through every frame.
Here’s what I love about this session: pregnancy hands you a whole new set of curves, and Jacqueline treated hers like the point of the shoot instead of something to style around. Boudoir maternity work is some of the most honest work I do, and it pairs beautifully with an outdoor session when the landscape is this stripped back. Years later, this is still the session other moms point to when they tell me what they want.
